A charming old Hotel, which did not loose its flair of the "old days", due to excessive renewal and renovation. We enjoyed our stay there. Private parking area. Pool. Parklike garden. Fairly good breakfast buffet (incl. srambled egg). Ein schönes altes Hotel, welches das Flair der "alten Tage" nicht durch übermäßige Renovierungswut verloren hat. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen. Privatparkplatz. Pool. Parkähnlicher Garten. Ziemlich gutes Frühstücksbuffet (inkl. Rührei).
The bath has been replaced by an acrylic tub with boring newish chrome fittings and would have deserved a rather more suitable retro-type replacement. Das Bad wurde leider mit einer Acrylbadewanne und langweiligen "modernen" Armaturen versehen, obwohl es eher einen Ersatz mit einer Retro-Badeinrichtung verdient hätte.

A really old fashioned hotel with a decent sized bedroom. The restaurant was of good value - they could do with more staff to expedite service.
I had chosen the hotel so that I could use the pool and the steam bath. It turned out that the steam bath went out of order that very morning. It was too cold to be swimming in the outdoor pool - so that was a shame.

The hotel had a great heated outdoor pool and it was a good location near the motorway. We enjoyed the French cuisine, especially the roast leg of lamb with garlic and St Veran wine.
The hotel was dated, with old-fashioned decor and furnishings. The bedrooms weren't well-ventilated, so we found it hard to sleep.
